The fate and redemption of a suicide told in inspiring blank verse. A noble message from the Great Beyond. A rare revelation and glimpse into a former life of a great Master Soul.

This poem is a powerful meditation on the theme: “Whatsoever a man sows that shall he reap.”  Shows spiritually the futility of suicide.  Just not an option.  Most interesting exposé and description of an actual afterlife experience.

The story is told in dramatic and moving language.  There is a chain of circumstances powerfully described.  The shortest stories often contain the most powerful messages.  Indeed, this short prose-poem includes so much occult lore that a book can be written about it.

Her Majesty Queen Alexandra graciously intimated her pleasure in accepting a presentation copy. King Oscar of Sweden read it aloud at a reception in 1901.

“To ev’ry spot on earth where prayers rise
We quickly fly and carry them to heaven,
Descending swift with blessing from above.
We watch in patience by the bed of pain
And guide the falt’ring steps of infant souls;
We fill the poet’s dreams with wondrous beauty,
And bid him hear a strain of angels’ songs.
His silent sobs we melt in harmony . . . .
His highest thought is but a gift from us.
Say! Can there be a fairer paradise?
Can mortals dream a joy exceeding ours?
Like Christ, we always sacrifice ourselves,
Yet keep eternally more than we give.”

Her Royal Highness, Princess Mary Despina Karadja, 1868 – 1943. Swedish musician, poet and writer on mystical themes, acclaimed medium and clairvoyant. Author of King Solomon, The Seven Sacraments, etc.

A member of the Swedish royal family, she spent many years in Britain. Karadja was the daughter of an eminent envoy to the Ottoman Empire based in London. She lived in London and later in Sussex and wrote several books, chiefly in English.

She founded the White Cross Union and was president of the Universal Gnostic Alliance, founded in January 1912 to propagate gnosis (knowledge) of “the Great Spiritual Laws which rule the Universe, and thus promote the spiritual evolution of the human race.”

Deemed to have been under direct inspiration of the departed Founder of the Theosophical Society, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky.
